MakerForge supports generating 3D models from reference images. This is perfect if you have concept art or a sketch.
1. Go to the Image to 3D tab in the Studio.
2. Upload your image.
* Tip: Images with a clear background (white or transparent) work best.
* Tip: Front-facing views yield the most accurate results.
3. Adjust the Geometry Precision slider if needed.
4. Click Generate.
The AI will infer the depth and back-side of the object based on the front view.
Texture Baking & Exporting

Exporting for Game Engines
If you are using the models for digital games (Unity, Unreal) rather than printing, you'll want the textures.
GLB Format: This format includes textures embedded in the file. Use this for web viewers and most game engines.
OBJ Format: This will give you the mesh (.obj) and the texture map (.png) separately.
When you download, select GLB for the easiest import process.
